About Us
Founded in the state of Connecticut under the visionary leadership of Most Worshipful
Grandmaster William Sykes, the Tribe of Judah Grand Lodge was established to build a
spiritual and service-driven Masonic body—one grounded in tradition, uplifted by faith,
and devoted to community transformation.
For generations, the symbols of Masonry echoed through the families of our leadership,
igniting a sacred curiosity in the hearts of young men destined for brotherhood. Today,
we stand tall on our square, bonded by Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth, and guided by
the principles of Faith, Hope, and Charity.

Let's Rebuild Our
Communities Together!
Support for Members and Families
Masonic organizations like Masonic Outreach Services offer vital support and resources for members and their families facing challenges, including health issues, financial difficulties, or major life transitions. This assistance can range from information and referrals to case management and even financial aid in specific situations.
Moral and Ethical Values
Freemasonry emphasizes moral and ethical principles like integrity, kindness, honesty, fairness, and the importance of helping others, which guide members' contributions to society. The Masonic Service Association of North America emphasizes the duty to "act kindly toward all, especially toward those in need".
Charitable Giving
Volunteerism
Freemasonry is heavily involved in charitable giving, both locally and globally. They donate directly from member contributions without public solicitations, their efforts support a variety of causes such as medical research, education, disaster relief, and community development.
Masons actively volunteer their time and skills for various community projects and outreach programs. Examples include food drives, highway cleanups, assistance for veterans' organizations, and youth programs.
